We imprint each of our foals at birth and they are handled several times a day. This insures that they are trusting, friendly, and people oriented from the beginning. Our next foals are due in March of 2009.

Sahara Sands is a beauty. She is small and is sure to stay that way since both her sire and dam are small. She is a daughter of our 2007 NMDA Champion Jack and NMDA Best of Breed Jack, QM Top Dollar, who has one of the best temperaments of any jack you'll ever see. Basically this is a brown jennet foal but she has bright red highlights that make her a standout. Her half sister on her dam's side is our two year old North Gate Sienna who won 2007 NMDA Junior Reserve Champion Jennet and will be in the showring again next season.

At the Texas Shootout June 2010, North Gate Sahara Sands won first place in her halter class, then won Champion Jennet, then went on to win Best of Breed. She is just a yearling and this was her first show. Her sire is Top Dollar. We are so proud of her, and of Kathy Loudamy. What a pair!.
